Licences from Natural England

Based on the data collected from the bat surveys, a Wildlife Licence from Natural England may be required to allow any development work to proceed.

A licence is required, by law, to carry out any activity which is usually prohibited under wildlife legislation.

If a licence is required then NKM Associates has the necessary expertise to complete the licence application and offer clients advice on any necessary bat mitigation works. Licence administration by Natural England is usually completed within 6 weeks.

NKM Associates provides nationwide bat consultancy services but operates predominantly within Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire, Herefordshire, West Midlands and Staffordshire.
